Annual Reports and Financials

World Animal Protection works hard to use all of our available resources to achieve the most good for animals. In an effort to be transparent and direct with our supporters, we make our annual report, Form 990, and audited financial statements available to the public every year.

Please note: some of the documents below were produced prior to June 2014, when we were known as the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). We are now World Animal Protection.

World Animal Protection is committed to efficiency and transparency. We communicate with our supporters and donors by postal mail–and other channels–not only to request contributions to our cause but also to educate the public about various animal welfare issues around the world, thereby advancing our mission to move the world to protect animals. As a result, in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines, World Animal Protection allocates a portion of our fundraising costs to program services. As a registered non-profit, we ensure our donors’ money is spent on helping animals as efficiently and effectively as possible.

World Animal Protection is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and our tax identification number is 04-2718182. World Animal Protection receives no government funding, and our work is made entirely possible through donations.
