In March, we launched our campaign urging Groupon to stop selling discounted deals to cruel wildlife entertainment venues. Groupon sells deals to roadside zoos, petting zoos, and marine amusement parks, many of which profit from cruel interactions with or performances by wild animals.
Groupon Activist Toolkit
We won’t be able to win this campaign alone. That’s why we’re excited to share our new Groupon Campaign Activist Toolkit. We put together different ways you can take action or volunteer with the campaign so you can help move Groupon to protect animals, not exploit them.
Inside, you’ll find volunteer opportunities related to social media, in-person events, and other fun and easy ways to get involved. Below are examples of actions you can take:
- Comment on Groupon’s Facebook and Instagram. Every month, we’re sending mass comments to Groupon under its latest posts. Sample language provided.
- Build support in Chicago. Sign up for a future demonstration in Chicago or tell a friend!
- Recruit college students. Do you know anyone currently enrolled in college or university? We’re planning a future campaign action specifically for students.
View our toolkit today, and then don’t forget to download it and help us move Groupon!
